Seminole man dies in 2-vehicle crash

The man, who was riding a motorcycle, failed to yield right of way when exiting a private drive.

SEMINOLE, Texas — A Seminole man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Gaines County.

DPS reports John Reiner, 56, was riding his motorcycle on a private drive near US Highway 385 on July 28 at 9:13 p.m.

Another car, being driven by a 14 year old was driving north on Highway 385 at the same time.

According to DPS, Reimer failed to yield right of way while pulling out onto 385 and was hit by the car.

Reimer, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to Seminole Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the car and his passenger were not injured in the crash.

DPS is still investigating and no more information is available at this time.
