ANDREWS, Texas — DPS is investigating a crash that took place early Sunday morning in Andrews
Troopers say Colton Gibbs, 30, from Gladewater, Texas was driving his truck south on FM 1788 at 3:48 a.m.
At the same time, Francisco Del Hierro, 28, of Andrews was also driving a truck northbound on the same road.
DPS reports the second driver crossed over into the southbound lanes and struck Gibb's vehicle head on.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. DPS also says Del Hierro was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
DPS is still investigating and no more information is available at this time.
