Big Spring police looking for suspect involved in hit-and-run; victim currently in stable condition

A 48-year-old man was pushing a motorcycle when he was hit by what is believed to be a red Kenworth Truck Tractor.

BIG SPRING, Texas — The Big Spring Police Department is asking for help finding a hit-and-run suspect.

On Tuesday at about 6:13 p.m., BSPD were called to the 3300 block of East I-20 South Service Rd. in reference to a hit-and-run.

A 48-year-old man was pushing a motorcycle westbound when he was hit by what is believed to be a red Kenworth Truck Tractor pulling a sand trailer pictured below. The truck was also going westbound.

The driver of the truck didn't stop and render aid, leaving the scene of the crash.

The 48-year-old was airlifted to UMC Lubbock where they are currently in stable condition.
