Jordan Frazier is the award-winning Chief Meteorologist for NewsWest 9. Over his career, he has worked to build and create exciting weather content.
Jordan first became infatuated with weather, after living through a category 4 hurricane while growing up in Florida. Not only did Jordan learn firsthand the destructive power nature has, but also just how important a timely and accurate weather forecast can be.
From there Jordan would use this experience as motivation and went on to study at the Florida State University, where he would begin to build his career. Since then, Jordan has experience working with a green screen creating social media and web content, as well as anchoring and writing. Jordan has seen, predicted and forecasted it all. From tornadoes and hail to hurricane force winds, and even blizzards.
Jordan is excited to dedicate his passion and expertise to the Permian Basin and is proud to call West Texas his home!
