Texas Department of Health Services opens clinic in Fort Stockton

The clinic hopes to help provide preventive care, dental care, immunizations and more.

FORT STOCKTON, Texas — Texas Senator César Blanco joined the Texas Department of Health Services in Fort Stockton yesterday, May 1.

Senator Blanco said the opening of this clinic represents a crucial step forward in providing families access to essential health care services, especially in West Texas.

“Access to quality health care, it’s not easy when you live in rural communities or far west Texas. So, we’re very much aware of that and this is our effort as a state to help provide some of those services. Even the urban communities in West Texas have challenges getting access to health care. So, know that your elected leaders are working closely with local elected leaders to broaden that access and get access to the care in your home.”

The clinic hopes to help provide preventive care, dental care, immunizations and more.
