MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Residents and businesses in the Midland community are collecting items for the family whose home caught on fire on Thursday.
The Walters family lost everything in the fire that occurred near Lone Star Trails in Midland.
If you would like to donate, here is some basic information of the family:
- Son (17): 6′ tall & 160lbs, size 13 shoe
- Daughter (14): 5′3 tall & 120lbs, size 8 shoe
- Elizabeth (mother): 5′ tall & 100lbs, size 7 shoe
- Clint (father): shoe size 10, size XL
Here is an “immediate needs” list for the family:
- Blankets
- Bed sheets
- Pillows
- Basic essentials such as personal hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, toiletries, etc.),
- Socks
- Underwear
- Towels

Donations are being taken at the Betenbough Home Center as well as 6914 Corral Drive, 1501 Wrangler Ln, or contact Karely Quintana to get something picked up.
Wingstop at 3323 N. Midland Dr. and 210 W. Longview will be donating 15% of every purchase on Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when customers present the following poster.
