BIG SPRING, Texas — The southbound lanes of Birdwell Lane from Washington Blvd. to East 16th St. will be temporarily closed Tuesday so crews can remove the ice buildup on the roadway.
According to the City of Big Spring, once the ice has been fully removed from the southbound lanes, the northbound lanes will close and be scraped.
The city wants to let drivers know to avoid these areas if possible until work is completed.
