UPTON COUNTY, Texas — FM 1555 was closed late Monday afternoon due to a pileup crash in Upton County involving 12 vehicles, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened on Monday at 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of FM 1555 and SH 349.
According to a DPS preliminary report, 12 vehicles were involved. DPS says minor injuries were reported, but they did not say how many were injured.
DPS said visibility was limited due to high winds and blowing dust.
As of 8 p.m. on Monday, FM 1555 is back open.
