ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — A 15-year-old boy is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Ector County.
The boy, who is not being identified due to his age, was driving a Kawasaki motorcross motorcycle southbound on Westcliff Road.
He was following behind a car when he attempted to pass it on the left.
At the same time, that car attempted to turn left at the intersection of Westcliff and Westfield Drive.
The motorcycle driver then struck the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information is available at this time and DPS is still investigating.
