LUBBOCK - Authorities in Lubbock have named two suspects in the death of a Big Spring fugitive.

Police are searching for 18-year-old Noel Serrano and 21-year-old Mayra Caraveo.

Officials say they are wanted for the murder of Fabian Rios who was found lying in the grass in front of a home on 89th street early Wednesday morning.

Investigators believe he may have been staying in Lubbock for about a week.

Rios had a warrant out for his arrest for an aggravated robbery in big spring after robbing a sno-cone shop last month.

Authorities tell NewsWest 9, Serrano and Caraveo fled the scene in a 2004 black Ford Explorer Sport-Trac SUV with a small pickup bed.

The vehicle has a New Mexico license plate of HNW-231.

They are considered armed and dangerous.
