George W. Bush Childhood Home to attend Presidential Sites Summit in Washington, D.C.

The George W. Bush Childhood Home has been invented to attend a Presidential Sites Summit which will feature numerous speakers as well as presidential descendants.

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The George W. Bush Childhood Home will be attending a Presidential Sites Summit in Washington, D.C.

The summit will run from August 27 to August 30. Leaders from presidential sites across the country will gather at the White House to reconnect with the domain of the presidency.

Featured at the summit will be an opening ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial as well as tours of the White House, the Library of Congress and the National Cathedral.

Descendants of presidents have been invited to attend the summit. These attendees will be honored at a special reception at the Kennedy Center and will participate in a panel discusses their stories as descendants of these public figures.

Speakers for the event include Stewart D. McLaurin, President of the White House Historical Association; former White House Press Secretary Ron Nessen and Valerie Strauss, an education journalist for the Washington Post.
