Texas Parks and Wildlife announces changes for 2024-25 hunting season

The changes have to do with everything from daily bag limit changes to changes in the season structure.

HOUSTON — Heads up if you're a hunter. Texas Parks and Wildlife has announced changes for the 2024-25 season when it comes to hunting and mandatory game bird proclamations.

The changes have to do with everything from daily bag limit changes to changes in the season structure. There was also a change in deer, squirrel, and wild turkey hunting to allow more opportunities for Texas youths.

The changes were posted to the TPWD page last week. You can see on their page exactly what those changes are. Hunters can always consult the Outdoor Annual for the latest regulations when it comes to the outdoors in Texas.
