ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Texas Turfgrass Association has named the UTPB Athletic Complex the 2017 Athletic Complex of the Year.
Each year the Texas Turfgrass Association looks throughout Texas for the best parks that Texans can enjoy.
UTPB's complex has 14 softball fields and three full-size soccer fields. State softball and soccer tournaments are hosted by the complex on a regular basis.
Additionally, the turf in the complex is a hybrid Bermuda grass which the parks and recreation staff maintains year-round.
