ODESSA, Texas — According to a press release by Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center, they are excited to announce the winner of the Window Art Competition.
The UT Permian Basin art student, Jacklyn Vicars, won the art competition.
As a reward of winning the Window Art Competition, Jacklyn Vicars will receive a gift card of $100. In addition, her art piece will be on display on Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center's window for six months. The final artwork will go up as a vinyl wrap.
Jacklyn Vicars’ winning piece was chosen for its powerful expression of West Texas. The art piece perfectly captured the vision that the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center pictured for this project.
The window art competition attracted submissions from a wide range of artists. Each artist offered a unique perspective and artistic style.
The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center would also like to congratulate the runner ups of the competition: Bryce Gray and Diana Ramos.
