Rollover crash happens in the 2400 block of the North Loop 250 service road

The report indicated that the driver failed to control speed, resulting in the Yukon rolling multiple times and ejecting several occupants from the vehicle.

MIDLAND, Texas — According to a press release from the City of Midland, on March 8, at 9:10 p.m., the Midland Police Department responded to a rollover crash in the 2400 block of the North Loop 250 service road. 

The incident involved a 2001 GMC Yukon traveling east on the Loop 250 south service road between Garfield St. and A St.

The report indicated that the driver failed to control speed, resulting in the Yukon rolling multiple times and ejecting several occupants from the vehicle. 

Three of the occupants were listed in critical condition, and their ages ranged from 16 to 22 years old.

Speed and alcohol were listed as contributing factors in the rollover. 

Update from the City of Midland as of March 11: 

The driver and one passenger have critical, non-life threatening injuries. 

One passenger has injuries listed as serious. 

Two passengers have been described as "hurt, but okay."
