MIDLAND, Texas — On Wednesday, May 8, a group of 8th grade girls from Midland ISD got a hands-on introduction to engineering at the Petroleum Museum.
The young girls got the chance to design and build their own toy carts.
They even got to test their designs in a race.
Exxon Mobil created the program, ‘Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day’, to inspire young women to pursue a career in stem.
