MIDLAND, Texas — On Monday, April 29, at around 6:30 a.m., the Midland Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at the Space Monkey Smoke Shop, located at the 800 block of South Weatherford Street, according to a press release from the City of Midland.
Officials from the department indicated that the fire originated in the ceiling of the establishment.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office to determine the cause of the fire.
