The Desert Springs Medical Center in Midland is closing its doors.
Interim C-E-O George Rex tells NewsWest Nine the decision was made late last week.
Rex says there are several reasons for the shutdown, one of the main ones is not enough people are coming to the facility.
Desert springs will close their doors August first.
Rex says patients that are close to completing their treament will stay there.
