JAL, N.M. — A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was spotted near Jal, New Mexico on Thursday afternoon, according to USGS.
The earthquake happened almost 12 miles southwest of Jal.
The earthquake was almost five miles in depth, according to the USGS earthquake map.
