MIDLAND - A holiday scavenger hunt in Midland has raised hundreds of dollars for a young girl with a tumor.
Over $1,300 was raised during a scavenger hunt called "Pay It Forward."
All of the money will go to Miranda Molinar, a first grader with an inoperable tumor.
Throughout the week, a blue envelope was hidden at over 70 locations around the city.
Each time someone found it; they took out a pre-stamped envelope and sent in a donation.
Then they'd hide it again for someone else to find.
The last person to find it at midnight on December 24 got to decide who received all the donation money.
This year's winner chose to give it to Miranda.
