HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs man who was on Tennessee's Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List was captured on Tuesday.
46-year-old David Jenkins is facing multiple charges including murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Lea County authorities got a tip on Friday that Jenkins was living under a fake name in Hobbs.
Investigators learned that he was using a false social security number and didn't give his date of birth to an employer.
Jenkins was arrested at a job site in the 2200 block of Gary Lane.
He was wanted in Tennessee for his involvement in the murder of Corey Matthews who was found dead in a corn field back in March.
