MIDLAND, Texas — At a special board meeting held on Monday, May 6, Midland ISD approved a revised academic calendar, according to the Midland ISD Facebook page.
This revision incorporates an additional six professional development days for staff, aligning with the “Grow and Develop” pillar of the Strategic Plan.
The notable changes to the calendar include the first day of school starting on Tuesday, August 13, and the conclusion of the school year on May 21 for students.
