OPD arrests three 15-year-olds who allegedly burglarized a Jeep and ran off

All three 15-year-olds were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

ODESSA, Texas — Three 15-year-olds have been arrested after the Odessa Police Department finishes an auto burglary investigation, according to a press release on Thursday.

On Wednesday, at approximately 2:42 a.m., OPD responded to 2527 E. 8th St. because of a suspected auto burglary.

According to an OPD investigation, it revealed that three men had allegedly burglarized a Jeep Cherokee and fled the scene in a gray Audi before officers arrived.

Officers were able to locate the gray Audi and conduct a traffic stop on it.

During the traffic stop, officers identified three 15-year-old males in the gray Audi. According to OPD, there was a tire jack with glass all over it in the car.

OPD says there was surveillance footage that identified the men as the suspects who had allegedly burglarized the Jeep Cherokee.

All three 15-year-olds were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
