MIDLAND, Texas — Midland Crime Stoppers has released a photo of a suspect who allegedly murdered a woman back on May 21 on Parkdale Drive in Midland. 54-year-old Wilburt Ray Davis is considered armed and dangerous.
On Tuesday, May 21, at approximately 5 p.m., Midland Police responded to a murder at the 4400 block of Parkdale Drive, according to a press release from the City of Midland.
The release further stated that 34-year-old Kendra Vollmers was discovered dead inside her home by family members.
The scene indicated that Vollmers had been strangled to death.
Following the investigation, authorities identified Davis as the suspect responsible for murder and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
