MIDLAND, Texas — The Midland Police Department assisted in the recovery of nearly $280,000 worth of alleged stolen property on April 4, which included multiple vehicles, ATVs, generators and a drone, according to a press release from the City of Midland.
After the Midland County Sheriff's Office received information about alleged stolen property, it led to the execution of a search warrant in the 3200 block of Franklin Avenue.
During the search, officers from the Auto Theft Unit, Property Crimes Division and Patrol discovered alleged stolen items, including two ATVs, a utility trailer, an industrial wash trailer, a Dodge Ram 3500, a generator and an air compressor.
MPD also reported that detectives identified a suspected vehicle, a white Ford F-250, that was utilized in the alleged theft. MPD believes the white Ford F-250 was stolen.
The suspect, Ricardo Mijares, was arrested and booked into a Midland County jail. According to the city, there are three other suspects involved in the alleged stolen property.
