MIDLAND, Texas — Former Midland Youth Pastor Corey White has pled guilty to one count of knowingly accessing images of child porn with visual depictions of a minor.
This happened at a Status Conference/Rearraignment on Wednesday afternoon, which NewsWest 9 attended.
White is expected to be sentenced by District Judge Counts on April 4. He could face 10 years max in prison and up to life of supervised release.
NewsWest 9 tried to speak with White's attorney once adjourned but he said he’s not able to comment at this time.
If you remember, White was indicted by a grand jury of these charges in November and pleaded not guilty at the time, which set up a jury trial for Jan. 29.
White was a youth minister at Redeemer Midland, according to members of the congregation, at the time.
