ODESSA, Texas — Update:
The Odessa Police Department said Tuesday night that they arrested and charged 57-year-old Carlos Ruben Cruz of Odessa with murder.
This in reference to a deadly shooting that occurred in the 4300 block of Clover Ave.
The City of Odessa released the name of the victim on their Facebook page Tuesday night as well.
Cruz was also charged with theft of a firearm.

The City of Odessa says a deadly shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon and the Odessa Police Department is investigating the incident.
The shooting happened in the 4300 block of Clover Ave. at 4:24 p.m. on Nov. 28.
When officers arrived to the scene they found a person dead.
The City says a suspect was placed into custody.
