MIDLAND, Texas — High Sky Wing celebrates Memorial Day with an open house at Midland Army Air Field Museum on May 27.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the public can visit the free event to tour the family-friendly museum.
The Memorial Day Ceremony begins at noon inside the Chapel with an Honor Guard, guest speaker, and flyover is the weather permits.
Bring the kids for a photo op and a chance to sit in the cockpit of a plane.
Purchase a ticket to take a scenic ride in an aircraft.
CAF Desert Squadron will be providing food and drinks to buy at the event.
The federal holiday is a tribute inspired by fallen soldiers in the Civil War, which remembers and honors men and women who died in serivce to the United States.
