EL PASO - According to the El Paso Times, FBI agents raided seven El Paso Internet Cafes.

At least four of them, are being linked to Phillip Clark, which has a corporate address in Big Spring.

The FBI has confirmed to NewsWest 9 that they served warrants at 7 locations, but wouldn't elaborate on what they seized or why they're investigating.

It's believed that several of the locations were engaging in electronic gambling.

No arrests were made, but FBI agents and El Paso Police officers were seen loading computers into rented trucks at each location.

All of the places that were raided have since been shut down.

NewsWest 9 has also learned that back in August, six people were indicted in Beaumont for running an illegal gambling operation.

A Phillip Clark of Big Spring is also listed in that indictment.

We're not sure whether these two investigations are connected.

NewsWest 9 did try contacting a Phillip Clark in Big Spring, but we have not received a response.
