MONAHANS, Texas — The Monahans Kid Zone, which is a non-profit that provides care to low-income students, received a generous donation of $50,000 Monday, all thanks to Chevron Midland.
Chevron is hoping to be more involved with the Monahans community, as well as the Kid Zone, and is encouraging others to lend a helping hand to those in need.
"We are supporting the campaign for the new facility it can do so much more if they had enough space and upgraded facilities to serve all of the kids who need this type of program here in the Monahans community," Jonathan Harshman with Chevron Midland said.
