ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — On Wednesday, the Ector County Library hosted Danish Author and Professor Jan Gustaffason to do a Storytime.
The Ector County Library used grant money from NewsWest 9 and the TEGNA Foundation to put on the event.
University of Texas Permian Basin Professor Dr. Antonio Moreno joined as a moderator and said due to his Latin American Film Club and Writers Series, this Storytime was made possible.
The Storytime touched on Scandinavia, Vikings and Latin America.
"The idea was to share his knowledge about reading like a testimony of when he was a reader in the first infancy, the first years when he starts reading. How was the relationship with the books? But now we have a lot of distractions with technology," said Dr. Moreno.
This program was also part of a partnership with the Latin American Film Club and UTPB.
