Sydnee Jolivette is from Houston, TX. and graduated from The University of North Texas with a bachelor of arts degree in converged broadcast media.
While attending UNT, Sydnee anchored and reported for North Texas Television, an Emmy Award winning student-run broadcast station.
She was nominated for a National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Lone Star Student Award in the category of Serious News.
In the summer of 2022, Sydnee interned at NBC 5 in the Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex as a digital news intern. Over those three months, she successfully published over 100 articles covering various news topics.
Sydnee is a very passionate and purpose-driven young woman. When she is not working on her storytelling craft, she enjoys journaling, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and most of all, her Shihpoo, Nova Bleu.
Sydnee is thrilled to call West Texas her new home and eager to serve the Midland-Odessa communities!
