SANDERSON - Terrell County is exploring ways to keep Amtrak stopping in Sanderson.
Judge Leo Smith tells NewsWest 9, he's looking at building a new depot for the train to use.
The train currently stops next to an old depot that is un-useable.
The judge says he's heard that Amtrak wants to cut some less-profitable stops and he doesn't want Sanderson to be on that list.
