HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - The FBI is investigating a child porn case out of Hobbs, New Mexico.
Hobbs Police tell NewsWest 9, their suspect is a registered sex-offender.
A local computer repair shop discovered files connected with child porn on a computer.
The business owner called police, who confiscated the computer, and identified the owner as a Hobbs sex offender.
Now those files are in the hands of the FBI.
Hobbs officials say they're not exactly sure how long the investigation will take.
