(KWES) - After another long rain delay, Texas Tech took on Arkansas in their second game of the College World Series and fell short 7-4. Arkansas took advantage of the Red Raiders miscues early and did not let up. Tech only produced 6 hits as a team with a combined batting average of .188.
The loss for Tech means they will have to win three games in a row to qualify for the best of three finals next week.
Texas Tech will take on the No. 1 seeded Florida Gators in a rematch of game one on Thursday night in an elimination game.
