Police searching for Odessa murder suspect, victim identified

Odessa police officers are at the scene of a shooting in the area of Andrews Hwy. and Ellis Drive. Authorities were called out just before 5:30 this morning.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - UPDATE: The Odessa Police Department needs your help locating a suspect involved in a murder that took place early this morning in Odessa.

Police are searching for Nathon Gaytan, 25, is currently wanted for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

We're told police were called out to 3117 Andrews Highway in reference to a gunshot victim.

When police arrived, they found Kyle Armer, 27, dead on the scene.

Authorities were called out just before 5:30 this morning, they tell us they arrived to find a deceased person.

Police along with the Texas Rangers are investigating this as a homicide and are currently looking for a suspect. Although we are told a description is not available.

They ask the public to report any suspicious activity they may have seen.
