The midland fire department beat their goal of raising one-hundred-ten thousand dollars to help fight Muscular Dystrophy. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The fire department stood outside all day at four intersections in the city taking donations. On Monday they raised more than 34-thousand dollars. On Wednesday.they racked in almost 45-thousand all together. They raised more than 123-thousand dollars in donations. The money will be sent to local kids battling the muscle disease to a MDA summer camp in July. The fire department wants to thank the community for their generous donations.
