ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A Kermit man was arrested on Monday following an incident in Odessa on Monday morning.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to 2120 Andrews Highway in reference to a possible assault involving a female subject leaving a bar.
When officers arrive on the scene, a 21-year-old female victim told police that when she left the bar, a male subject followed her to her vehicle.
According to the report, the woman told police that the man grabbed her arm and began pulling her towards him.
That's when, police say, the woman pushed the panic button on her key chain and pepper sprayed the man.
The man, later identified as Israel Flores, 46, was later arrested after officers smelled an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Flores was also found to be in possession of cocaine in his left pocket.
