ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Ector County deputies caught a man who tried to take their weapon then ended up running.

They pulled over 24-year-old Joshua Degadillo and say he didn't give his ID.

According to the report, when deputies tried to detain him, he jerked away.

The two got into a scuffle so deputies pulled a taser out.

The report says Degadillo knocked it out of the deputy's hand and began to reach for it and that's when the deputy pulled out his gun.

Degadillo took off running, climbed a fence then jumped into his car.

He rammed three other cars that were blocking his vehicle to try and get away.
