HOUSTON - A deadly traffic accident on a Texas freeway closed one road down for hours.
The driver of a big rig was killed in a fiery crash on Gulf Freeway in Houston on Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 at the South Loop.
Houston investigators confirm the driver of the semi died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
No one else was hurt.
