ODESSA - A city worker is ticketed after his truck is stolen in Odessa.
We're told Sam Gutierrez, a public works employee, left the keys in the ignition of a city truck while he and another worker got out to clean up debris from a drainage ditch.
When the two went back to the parked vehicle, it was gone.
Gutierrez faces up to a $130 fine for leaving keys in the vehicle and not locking it.
We're told the truck is a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab with a logo on both doors.
It also has a unit number of 3021.
