ODESSA - If someone comes banging on your door claiming to need to clean your carpet to earn a college scholarship, it's a scam.
Odessa College tells NewsWest 9, some people are going door-to-door saying they're students.
They'll tell you they need to clean so many carpets for free in order to earn scholarship money.
Odessa College says it's bogus.
They do not offer any scholarships to students that require them to go knocking on doors and offering free services.
