MIDLAND - A former Midland firefighter in big trouble with the law after pleading guilty to operating a bogus real estate operation.
34-year-old Jason Morrison is accused of running a real estate scheme.
He, along with another man, operated Vanguard Properties, where they would purchase residential properties but never fully pay the mortgages.
On Friday, Morrison pleaded guilty to multiple counts of attempt to commit mail fraud.
