ECTOR COUNTY - An Odessa man is dead after falling off a trailer. It happened around 1:00 Thursday afternoon on Highway 385 about five miles south of Odessa.
DPS troopers tell NewsWest9 that 46-year-old Armando Gonzalez was riding on a flat bed trailer that was carrying scrap metal when a piece was caught by the wind. The scrap metal hit Gonzalez causing him to fall off the trailer. He died at the scene.
