REEVES COUNTY - An early morning accident in Reeves County claims the life of a Carlsbad man.
State troopers tell NewsWest 9, two men in a pick up were headed south on Highway 285 when they hit some livestock in the road, overcorrected, and flipped.
28-year-old Jeremy White was thrown from the car and died a short time later.
His passenger, 22-year-old Jordan White, also from Carlsbad, suffered several broken ribs and punctured lungs.
