STANTON, Texas — A man was found dead in Shelbourne Park in Stanton Wednesday morning, according to Stanton Police Department.
At about 10:53 a.m., Stanton PD responded to Shelbourne Park regarding an unresponsive person.
Once officers arrived, they found a deceased man on the scene.
The man, according to Stanton PD, "appeared to have been there for several hours."
The manner of death has not been determined and is pending an autopsy.
Stanton PD and the Texas Rangers will be investigating this incident further.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
