MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - One man is dead and another is injured following a Tuesday evening accident on Interstate Highway 20.
The Texas Department of Public Safety say Antonio Reese, 22, was driving a 2014 Ford F-150 west on I-20 with Lorico Lane, 23, when he was struck by Anthony Diaz, 22, in a semi-truck.
Authorities revealed Diaz was in the inside lane a short distance behind Reese, when Reese attempted to cross the center median and into the path of Diaz.
Reese was pronounced dead on scene and Lane was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
