Person of Interest Named in Connection With Shooting in Odessa

ODESSA - A man was shot waiting at a red light in Odessa.

Now, an Odessa teenager could be tied to the crime.

Right now police are calling 18-year-old Johnny Johnson a person of interest.

No official charges will be made until forensic evidence comes back.

He was taken into custody on Thursday night but on unrelated warrants.

On Thursday, Devin Brown was shot in the back while stopped at a red light in Odessa.

He lurched forward and his suburban veered into the wrong lane and hit a pickup head-on.
