Fall has arrived and will stick around for quite some time

We are tracking a storm that will become a Hurricane in the Gulf soon

MEMPHIS, Tenn —

Our weather headlines

  • A Fall pattern is here and should hang around all week
  • Most of the week should be dry
  • A Major Hurricane will develop in the Gulf early this week

The Mid-South weather pattern has taken a big shift.  Fall like weather has arrived and will stick around through the entire week, and likely into next weekend as well.

Rush hour should be a breeze Monday morning!  Let's hope anyway.  The weather will be just fine.

No rain is expected this week.  The only thing that could change this is a hurricane in the Gulf.  If the track shifts further West that could alter things but we don't see that happening at this point.  Here is the track as of late Sunday night.

On this track most of the impacts will be East of the area but you know our team will be watching closely and updating you throughout the week.

A cool, dry weather pattern will start Sunday and by the end of next week, we will see high temperatures in the upper 70s. Good news for the Mid-South, it does not look like we will be seeing any rain from Tropical Storm Ian. Travel plans to Florida may be affected.
