Continuing construction of University Blvd., the existing asphalt will be removed starting Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Motorists will notice heavy equipment on the roads and should expect delays to side street traffic, as workers move through intersections.

Drivers are urged to be cautious of workers and equipment in the construction zone.

Construction on the project will begin in August to widen the roadway, install a new curb and gutter, and improve the sidewalks and street pavement.

City officials held a town hall in August to discuss the construction project.
